By accessing or using GIF Cutter at www.gifcutter.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GIF Cutter is a free, browser-based tool that converts video files into GIF images. All processing occurs locally on your device using WebAssembly. No files are uploaded to any server.

3. User Accounts

You may optionally sign in with Google to access premium features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You may also use promo codes to access premium features without signing in.

4. Free and Premium Tiers

The Service offers both free and premium tiers. Free tier users may experience limitations such as scene count limits, resolution restrictions, and processing delays. Premium access may be obtained through Google Sign-In or valid promo codes.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue premium features or promo codes at any time without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process content that you do not have the right to use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Share, sell, or distribute promo codes without authorization
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you process through GIF Cutter. The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of GIF Cutter and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output quality will meet your requirements. Output quality depends on your input files and selected settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GIF Cutter and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to your device.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
